The facts in the part that you refer to might be useful if they were correct.
The first fundamental form as stated (the identity matrix [1 0 ; 0 1]) cannot be right, as it implies that all minimal surfaces are flat, which is not the case. Sigurd Angenent (talk) 17:23, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
