Alternative

The equivalence is not that obvious, have you any refs? The picture represents a rotated square/fractal but, actually, the corners are not removed as suggested in your edit. ptrf (talk) 10:28, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The equivalence becomes clear if you consider the two alternative self-similarities of the image - see diagrams below. I imagine Mandelbrot or Barnsley mentions the alternative construction - I will look it up when I have more time. Gandalf61 (talk) 11:29, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
