Filming began in Georgia in March 2012.[citation needed]

  3. Atlanta: Turner Field 2 scenes involving a press conference with reporters to announce the first-round draft pick of the Atlanta Braves and a crowd scene featuring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and Justin Timberlake.[citation needed]
  4. Macon, Georgia: Two scenes. One scene was shot at Northside Cheers Bar and Grill which was transformed into Jimmy's and featured Clint Eastwood eating lunch. A second scene was shot at Luther Williams Field and involved Eastwood scouting a young player named Billy Clark (played by Clint Eastwood's real life son Scott Eastwood) during a minor league game between the Rome Braves and Kannapolis Intimidators.[citation needed]
  5. Dawsonville, Georgia: A number of scenes were filmed in and around a local motor lodge. The scenes involved Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, and Justin Timberlake.[citation needed]
  6. Hiawassee, Georgia: The baseball fields at Young Harris College were utilized in filming.[citation needed] Young Harris College is actually in Young Harris, Georgia. Hiawassee is the next town to the east and the county seat of Towns County.
  7. Athens, Georgia: two scenes (acting as Asheville, North Carolina). One scene was filmed at The Globe restaurant downtown, which was transformed into a "thespian" bar and restaurant, featuring a Country and Western scene including clog dancers. The second scene was filmed along College Avenue and Clayton Street as Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams walk down the streets in conversation.[4]

  9. Jasper, Georgia: Scenes were shot on the local city ball fields near Chattahoochee Technical College.[citation needed]
  10. Lake Burton (Georgia): Scenes were shot in The Lodge at Lake Burton Club, a private golf club community in the Blue Ridge Mountains north of Atlanta.[citation needed]
