Not suitable for the general reader

The description used seems to assume knowledge of the track-safety context, so is perhaps more suited to the expert reader. The article would ideally start of with a description of what a Track circuit interrupter is, rather than immediately plunging into where they could be used.

It is also unclear whether the TCI is an electrical connection in the normal state and an open circuit in the tripped state, or vice versa. Perhaps there are more than one kind (used by different signally systems?).--Wcoole (talk) 00:40, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
