indiscriminate italics
Please don't write dist(u) or the like, indiscriminately italicizing everything in non-TeX math notation. Variables are italicized; digits and parentheses are not, nor are log, sin, det, max, etc., including things like dist. I changed it to dist(u), with only the u italicized. This is standard and is codified in WP:MOSMATH. Michael Hardy (talk) 15:47, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
