I am in fact the person who developed the Representative Layer Theory. I responded to a request to expand an article on Kubelka-Munk theory, and this seemed like a worth-while addition on the same subject. We developed the Representative Layer Theory in the 1990s. I have written articles on it in several Handbooks, where having the original author writing the article was considered an asset. Everything I have written has been previously published in reviewed literature. I am not offended by the current tag, and leave it to someone else to decide if it should remain.DJDahm (talk) 15:16, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it should remain at least until there have been significant contributions to the article by other editors. On a narrow topic like this one that might not happen for a long time; perhaps years. In the meantime it does no harm, and is a flag to other editors that the article may need extra attention.--Srleffler (talk) 04:49, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
