Definition

In my study of mathematics I have not heard of this term, and the article does not seem to provide a clear and precise definition. If the term is not mathematical, perhaps someone should place it in an appropriate category, and provide more context in the article. --Quux0r 07:34, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The term is used by mathematics educators at school level. I agree that there should be a more precise and clear definition here. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:02, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So: WHAT is it??

I thought I would come to a point in this article where it says what quotition is. It's not there! Michael Hardy (talk) 22:26, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This page is somewhat clearer. Michael Hardy (talk) 22:34, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

....and now I've added a definition and a simple example. Michael Hardy (talk) 23:05, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
