POV of the rationale section

The "Rationale" provides several criticisms of the rule without explaining much of the rule's rationale at all. It would benefit from the contributions of those with relevant knowledge. HamartiaProsciuttoPharos (talk) 00:36, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"True intentions" clause

I cannot find anything supporting the thing about "call your broker to let them know your true intentions". As far as I can tell, the rule is rigid, and non-discretionary. --Ipatrol (talk) 19:47, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ipatrol: I just removed that, as the reference didn't support it either. I also qualified the topic of the article as being in the United States, at least until somebody globalizes it. – voidxor 19:44, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
