de-facto standard

"software industry de-facto standard for capturing software requirements"? as judged by whom? "software industry de-facto standard for capturing software requirements"?

Reference refers to the commercial implementation of KAOS (objectiver). This is not very objective. Please change this. From a general experience. I would agree with this. If it is an "industry standard" it should be widely documented. Therefore references to justify the statement should be readily available.
