FWIW: This has become more of a summary of the XM9 pistol trials than the actual Joint Service Small Arms Program. JSSAP's mission and history encompasses more than just the XM9. D.E. Watters (talk) 12:48, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Prose

Does anyone else find the overall prose and grammar of this article to be lacking or downright bad? While informative, it feels as though it were written in a rush or was written for someone of a very elementary reading level. I'd make changes but I am not an expert in this topic/event, and I'd loathe to make changes that adjust meaning or intent due to my own misunderstandings/lack of knowledge.
