"multi-threadedness" of IPP

Intel IPP developers have deprecated, in the latest versions (i.e. 8.0 forward), multi-threaded computation within an IPP function. The latest documentation and release notes make clear that it is up to the application developer to multi-thread his/her own code, and not depend on IPP calls to be multi-threaded underneath the application utilizing IPP. Perhaps this adjective ("multi-threaded") should be removed from the first sentence in the article. Open to hearing other thoughts on this.
