Sorry but the edit was not drastic. According the to experts, the term "hacker" is not as cut and dry as the page indicates. Basically, the term "hacker" has been hijacked, it seems, without regard to other views.
I don't think "hacker" should be directed to a page that is only one point of view, and instead of controversy, it seems better to let this page stand and to revert the work back on the hacker page.
The topic as been discussed for many years and can be 'religious' for some people. Instead of supporting "religious" views, we should be more open, hence my disambig' page.
