FlashMob is technically incorrect English. For an encyclopedia entry I think "flash mob computing" is the general descriptive term. "FlashMob" is more like a brand name or token, it would be used to describe a product or event, such as "FlashMob I", while "flash mob computer" would describe it in general.Stbalbach 22:47, 3 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I think that the name FlashMob describes the event example "Lets set up a FlashMob" in turn they are setting up a FlashMob Super Computer. I used Flash Mob Computing because if you look at just FlashMob it has nothing to do with computers Kylehamilton 05:49, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I don't see what's so special about this "flash mob" event. Similar events took place earlier, e.g. this one: http://www.linux-magazin.de/Artikel/ausgabe/1999/02/Cluster/cluster.html (sorry only german) and if I'm not mistaken, ClusterKnoppix has been around since 2003.
