The mathematics of this is probably familiar to me - any chance of a rewrite so that the words do a better job of explaining how the construction is used, and for what?
Since the article on PCA states that PCA is equivalent to EOF,
the PCA article provides a mathematical expression and relevant
details, as well as a link to the EOF article, it seems sensible
that the EOF article should maintain a link to the PCA article.
