Uniqueness of elimination matrix

The elimination matrix is not unique. A general parameterization of the 2x2 elimination matrix is given by ${\begin{bmatrix}1&0&0&0\\0&1-t&t&0\\0&0&0&1\end{bmatrix}}$ where t is any scalar.
