List of CID Program Corridors Updated per FRA

The formatting needs to be tweaked, but otherwise I've updated the table per the FRA document https://railroads.dot.gov/elibrary/fras-corridor-id-obligation-status-reportWallyFromColumbia (talk) 15:01, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the following FRA document for those changes: https://railroads.dot.gov/elibrary/fras-corridor-id-obligation-status-reportWallyFromColumbia (talk) 18:44, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Texas HSR Step 3 funding has been revoked by the Trump Administration. Does that mean that Texas HSR is no longer in Step 3, or even in the CID Program at all? I've added the following reference to that line item, but nothing else. https://railfan.com/trump-administration-pulls-funding-for-texas-high-speed-rail/?fbclid=IwY2xjawJrjMhleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHq_aSGED0tSTVmxiShck6VWPDGpQCQ6PT1RYNp3sfNDEx1jNZMuscwwBv4A6_aem_T0d0dunuJ1MZ-6awIstIKg WallyFromColumbia (talk) 19:11, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think we'll know the answer to this question until the FRA releases an updated Corridor ID Obligation Status Report. FFM784 (talk) 19:51, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Have any corridors actually been accepted into FRA's Step 2?

 Has FRA made any such announcements?WallyFromColumbia (talk) 19:21, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, two corridors are at step 2 due to prior work funded by the FRA. This is given by the source. QuincyMorgan (talk) 03:08, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then that document should be cited for both corridors. WallyFromColumbia (talk) 14:04, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That document is the primary source of all data in the table and is referenced in the header. References to specific page numbers or outside news articles would be nice if someone wants to do add them but I don't find it strictly necessary. QuincyMorgan (talk) 14:08, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
