Start

This is only a start. I hope to add more later. I'd like to make a re-direct from CLIL but the page seems to be blocked. Can anyone help to get it unblocked? Chris.let (talk) 05:33, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any reason this information can't be located at Content-based instruction until it is developed enough for its own article? SnottyWong spout 21:27, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As CLIL is such a big thing in Europe and the term CBI is little used there I think that this article needs to stay, but be expanded to reflect the content in the other language CLIL wikipedia articles (even if you don't speak them, take a look at the Italian and Spanish pages and you'll see that they are quite comprehensive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.78.5.158 (talk) 15:07, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the first two references serve no purpose here. J27325 (talk) 12:15, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merging CLIL with Language immersion

CLIL is fundamentally a part of the Language immersion's strategies that gathers the majority of the studies and researches of the sector. Furthermore only this latter article seems to really collect a vaste international bibliography. I propose to move "CLIL" inside of Language immersion's article.--Cornelius383 (talk) 16:26, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Of course in this case we have to accurately revise the "Language immersion"'s article 'cause there are something to modify to increase neutrality...--Cornelius383 (talk) 16:30, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As noted above, CLIL is a very big field in itself, so wikipedia needs something on it. Maybe a section in the immersion article with a re-direct from a CLIL page would do, but the public needs to be able to search for CLIL in google & find the page. CLIL is massive in Europe & is becoming more widely known globally. There are many who would say that CLIL is very distinct from immersion, although it is certainly related. Additional information

Can additional information be added on the supposed benefits of CLIL as well as a section on disadvantages and criticisms. Chris Fynn (talk) 19:05, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
