Rename to Digital

I propose this article be renamed "Digital communication protocol" as there's nothing in it about analog communication protocols (human or other biological). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.119.15.14 (talk) 19:35, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I assume those topics fall under Communications. Is there another article that should be named Communication protocol? If not WP:COMMONNAME applies and article should not be moved. ~Kvng (talk) 15:40, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Education assignment: Introduction to Media Culture

The article should be moved back to Communications protocol

I just noticed that this article is at the wrong title.

Google Ngram Viewer shows that the plural form is far more prevalent in the published corpus.

Under WP:COMMONNAME, we go with the most commonly used name. Any objections before I initiate a request for a move? Coolcaesar (talk) 15:37, 12 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Before we flip-flop this again, have you researched the justification for the previous change? ~Kvng (talk) 15:32, 16 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
