Mostly wrong

This article contains many errors and approximations.

VA does not simulate the circuitry, but the global sound generation (some synths are supposed to emulate circuitry: Roland ACB?).
VA is not more reliable but more stable and predictable (which is not always better).
VA synths are also constrained by the electronic circuitry. Some VA synths contain one chip per voice (Alesis Ion/Micron).
Many analog synths provide patch storage and MIDI capabilities.
