from Special:Deadendpages... wtf is this? Avriette 00:09, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)

  • Exactly what it says: the Z-buffer algorithm, in pseudo-code. cesarb 03:05, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)
    • ... and thus not appropriate for Wikipedia. (From WP:WIN: "Wikipedia articles are not: [...] 3. Mere collections of public domain or other source material such as [...] source code, [...]"). However, this is not a speedy deletion criterion. I've replaced the tag with a more appropriate one. Everyone feel free to rescue this article by completely rewriting it to be about algorithms in computer graphics. ☺ Uncle G 23:56, 2005 Feb 24 (UTC)
    • and you know, some, uh, complete sentences would be nice to have in an article as well. i used the {{delete}} tag because I didn't know any better at the time. I'm still frankly in favor of deletion. Avriette 11:50, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
      • I am also in favor of deletion. I didn't say above I opposed; you asked what it was, and I pointed to Z-buffer where it already is described. This article is redundant. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. cesarb 12:24, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Redirect

I oppose to the redirect; Z-buffer is not the only algorithm in computer graphics. It might be better to redirect to something more generic, create a real article, or delete.

For now, I will change the redirect to computer graphics.
