Dog (domestic dog) |
The Cavapoo (American English) or Cavoodle (Australian English) is a crossbreed of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle.
Cavapoos can come in many colors, including white, golden, brown, and black, often with a contrasting white tuft of fur on their chests. They can even be tricolored in a similar vein to Calico cats. The Cavapoo is known for being hypoallergenic, as they are part Poodle, however this is a misconception. While they don't shed as much as some other breeds, they do still shed a small amount of hair and dander. Their curly, dense coat requires regular grooming to prevent matting and tangles[1][2] This cross breed is very popular and is bred by people who puppy farm for money. According to a study, out of one hundred and fifty-five dogs, it has shown to be a victim of dog attacks and bites by two percent. [3]
