ignore archive pages?

[edit]

Is there a way to modify the bot that checks for CS errors to ignore archive pages? It fills up the log with errors that will not be fixed, as all archive pages say "do not edit". Quebec99 (talk) 13:39, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What log? Can you give an example of an archive page that you think should not be categorized?

Pages in the Wikipedia space are categorized in the CS1 error categories. Some of these articles are archived pages. Look at all of the articles under the "A" header in Category:Pages with citations using unnamed parameters, for example. Also see most of the pages in Category:Pages with citations having wikilinks embedded in URL titles, for another example. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:25, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
