"When I'm Good and Ready" is a 1993 song by American R&B and pop singer-songwriter Sybil. It is written and produced by Stock/Waterman and was released as the first single from her fifth studio album, Good 'N' Ready. "When I'm Good and Ready" went on to become one of Sybil's most successful songs and was a big hit in Europe. It peaked at number 5 in the UK, number 6 in Ireland and number 17 in Austria. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 21.
Critical reception
Tony Cross from Smash Hits commented, "After The Love I Lost, Sybil has another song with "hit" written all over it." He added that "her powerful vocals are underused in this repetitive soul-sisters dancerama."[1]
