nothing about ClockWorkMod?

[edit]

There is only a brief mention of it in the CyanogenMod page.

Ridiculous. Almost as if the ClockWorkMod isn't noteworthy enough of a separate mention.

On notability

[edit]

Wow, I never thought trying to find the history of the world's first custom recovery, which saw widespread use (as seen on XDA-Developers), would be so hard. Before the recovery died in 2015, the press made tons of tutorial content, or some brief admiring the custom ROM community, but absolutely no in-depth coverage. I could only find ONE interview. As far as the world is concerned, ClockworkMod came out of nowhere, and that means Wikipedia can only say so much.
