Core Decay is an upcoming indie first-person action role-playing video game developed by Ivar Hill and Slipgate Ironworks, and published by 3D Realms. Described as a "philosophical sci-fi adventure", the game takes inspiration from classic 1990's shooters Deus Ex and System Shock. Core Decay is expected to release in 2021.[1][2]

Development

Ivar Hill created Core Decay as a personal side project while working as a professional game developer.[3]

3D Realms announced that they had partnered with Hill to publish and co-develop the game during their Realms Deep 2020 event.[2]
