Plate of Origin is an Australian competitive cooking game show broadcast on the Seven Network in 2020. Celebrity chef Manu Feildel hosts the series with co-hosts chef Gary Mehigan and food critic Matt Preston.[1] The series is described as "The World Cup of Cooking" with teams competing against each other with international food cuisines.[2] The series was originally conceived and marketed as a spin-off edition of successful cooking game show My Kitchen Rules but later developed as a separate program.[3]
