Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this article is about ViPR, a freely available virology research database that is funded by the NIAID, an agency under the US National Institute of Health. The article's content briefly describes the content in the ViPR resource. VectorBase, a sister database which focuses on different organisms has a similar wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VectorBaseHyacinthus0 (talk) 18:39, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
