Scope of article

The lead give a very narrow definition of input queue, which Input queue#Networking does not satisfy. Either the lead should be rerwritten in a more general fashion or the article should be split and {{about}} or {{distinguish}} tags added. If it is split then links to this article should be checked for relevance, e.g., the term single input queue in Presentation manager does not satisfy the definition currently in the lead.
