I use a light green H4 background, which is lighter than the Wikipedia default. Still would recommend not setting the font color at all (or setting background as well), since others may have different color schemes, too.). Get Involved

Anybody can join the project, but based on your level of expertise there would be a number of levels. Check the details below and feel free to apply. You can still continue to edit the articles without registering but then we would not be able to track your contributions or provide credits. We strongly insist that you apply to join.

As an applicant you would need to have a basic idea about Wikipedia. Take the Wikipedia orientation course

Associate Editor Level 1

  • Any Wikipedian who is interested in contributing within the scope of the project. As Wikipedians you may or may not reveal your real identity or credentials and can continue to contribute from your registered username.
  • You need not be from a medical background. You can be caregiver to a patient with epilepsy. You could be from some patient support group.
  • You could be technical experts. The scope will also include people from the translation taskforce people, unless you come under the subsequent levels.

Associate Editor Level 2

  • Medical practitioners, general physicians, researchers, or students training in medical subjects or from some associate field.

Associate Editor Level 3

  • People having specialist training, experience or expertise in the field of neurology, neurosciences, epilepsy, or allied subjects.

Reviewers

  • Can also be associate editors but would need to register separately, could be Wikipedians as well, could be invited.

ILAE experts

  • Credible ILAE members or identified by ILAE for the purpose.

Translators

  • Members of the translation taskforce of WikiProject Medicine, or otherwise, who are interested in translating epilepsy related articles to various languages.
