Bishop Kalanzi Jude was born in Makondo parish of Kiwangala-Rwengo in Masaka district, Uganda. He was ordained, and then consecrated as Bishop of Uganda for Covenant Churches on May 15, 2015, in Kampala.

Bishop Kalanzi Jude started Covenant Church under-the-tree structure, together with a few church members obtained 2016, rented a premise and was able to set a temporary church structure.

Today, Covenant Church is the fast growing church in Nansana, located on Kyebando-Kabulengwa Road in Kampala, with temporal church structure accommodating over 100 people. Bishop Jude is also a leader of a pastors’ fellowship in Uganda.

Bishop Kalanzi Jude is a married father of six, two girls and four boys. Both with his wife Pastor Eva N. Kalanzi are the founder and Senior Pastors of Covenant Churches in Uganda. He is a qualified teacher, ordained Pastor and consecrated Pentecostal Bishop.

Bishop Kalanzi Jude as the founder of Covenant Church Uganda, his ministry focuses on spreading the Gospel through planting churches, training pastors and overseeing Covenant Churches.
