49th Parallel Coffee Roasters is a coffee roaster based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was founded by two brother Vince[1] and Michael Piccolo[2] in 2004 in Vancouver, BC. The company focuses in Specialty Coffee and is ranked one of Canada's best specialty coffee companies. 49th Parallel Coffee trades directly with local farmers and educate them on how to grow high-quality coffee beans with transparency and outstanding service[3].

The company focuses on sustainability and direct trade coffee in which they ensure transparency and a long-term relationship with Coffee farmers. The process consists in going directly to farmers, eliminating the middle man, focusing on educating farmers equitably to provide specialty coffee to its consumers. The direct trade benefits not only consumers who are getting specialty coffee but also farmers who are ensuring their income and improving their coffee beans in the long-run[4].
