Wikipedia:Scripts++/Shell/doc

This is a boilerplate template for new issues of the Scripts++, a community-written newsletter about userscripts edited by DannyS712.

Usage

New issues should be started by substituting this template onto the page where the issue is to be written. It takes a single positional parameter: a date in YYYY-MM format. When the issue is ready, increment the number at {{Scripts++/current}}.

Example

The 27th issue to cover May 2025 would be created by placing {{subst:Wikipedia:Scripts++/Shell|2025-05}} on Wikipedia:Scripts++/Next and saving the page. The newly placed templates can then be edited to fill in content specific to that issue. Then just before publication it is moved to Wikipedia:Scripts++/Issue 27.
