A computer program called GraphEdit is likely to be a software tool that supports the editing of various kinds of graphs.

Probably the most well known such tool is the Microsoft tool for building and testing filter graphs that part of the DirectShow API under Microsoft Windows. It can be used for transcoding and other processing of multimedia files.
