A red team placement means the team was eliminated.
A green ƒ indicates that the team won a Fast Forward. If placed next to a leg number, this indicates that the Fast Forward was available for that leg but not used.
An underlined blue team's placement indicates that the team came in last on a non-elimination leg and had to perform a Speed Bump during the next leg of the Race.
An underlined leg number indicates that there was no mandatory rest period at the Pit Stop and all teams were ordered to continue racing. The first place team was still awarded a prize for that leg. An underlined team placement indicates that the team came in last on a "continue racing" leg was not eliminated.
A purple ε indicates that the team decided to use the first Express Pass on that leg; if next to a leg number, it indicates that the team with the first Express Pass was eliminated on that Leg without ever having used it. A magenta ə indicates the team had previously been given the second Express Pass and used it on that leg.
A brown ⊃ or a cyan ⋑ indicates that the team chose to use one of the two U-Turns in a Double U-Turn; ⊂ or ⋐ indicates the team who received it; ⊂ ⋑ indicates that the team was U-Turned, but they used the second U-Turn on another team; ⊂ and ⋑ around a leg number indicates that the Double U-Turn was available for that leg but not used.
^ Dorothy & Sophia initially arrived 3rd, but received a total of 70-minute penalties for: 10 minutes for breaking laws twice and 60 minutes for taking unauthorized taxis twice. Five teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to 8th.
^ab Ted & Robin and Sam & Cat initially arrived 2nd and 5th respectively, but received a total of 60-minute penalties for taking unauthorized taxis twice. Several teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to 6th and 7th respectively.
^ Diplo & Dillon initially arrived 6th, but received a 30-minute penalty for taking an unauthorized taxi to Royal Palace of El Pardo. Due to other teams receiving penalties, their placement were not dropped and instead checked in 4th after their penalty expired.
^ Kristen & Nicole initially arrived 8th, but received a 5-minute penalty for breaking a law at the airport. This did not affect their placement.
^ Keith & Ida initially arrived 7th, but received a total of 35-minute penalties for: 5 minutes for breaking a law and 30 minutes for taking an unauthorized taxi to Royal Palace of El Pardo. Due to other teams receiving penalties, their placement were not dropped and instead checked in 5th after their penalty expired.
^ Sean & Axl elected to withdraw from the Race halfway into the leg due to personal reasons, therefore they were immediately eliminated without any penalties issued.
^ Kristen & Nicole initially arrived 4th, but received a 5-minute penalty for completing the Detour incorrectly. This did not affect their placement.
^ Keith & Ida initially arrived 2nd, but received a 4-hour penalty for quitting the Roadblock. Five teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to 7th.
^ Kade & Noah used the Express Pass to bypass the Roadblock in Leg 2. Before using the Express Pass, Noah elected to perform the Roadblock; this is reflected in the total Roadblock count. However, they were medically evacuated halfway after the Roadblock, therefore they were immediately eliminated without any penalties issued.
^ Sam & Cat used their U-Turn power on Ted & Robin, however, they had already passed the U-Turn point and were therefore unaffected by it. Later, Sam & Cat initially arrived 3rd, but received a 30-minute penalty for completing the Roadblock incorrectly. Three teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping Sam & Cat to 6th.
^ Kristen & Nicole initially arrived 2nd, but were issued a 30-minute penalty for completing the Active Route Info incorrectly. Three teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to 5th.
^ Keith & Ida initially arrived 6th, but received a 30-minute penalty for completing the Roadblock incorrectly. Sam & Cat, the only team trailing them, checked in during their penalty time, dropping Keith & Ida to last place, resulting in their elimination.
^ Diplo & Dillon initially arrived 5th, but were issued a 30-minute penalty for taking a taxi to the Roadblock instead of going by foot as instructed by the clue. This did not affect their placement.
^ Kristen & Nicole initially arrived 3rd, but were issued a total of 50-minute penalties for: 15 minutes for taking a business class flight, which is prohibited per the rules; 30 minutes for failing to complete the Active Route Info; and 5 minutes for breaking a law at KwaMuhle Museum. Three teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping them into last place and resulting in their elimination.
^ Ike & Lyndis used the Express Pass given by Kade & Noah to bypass the Roadblock in Leg 6. Before using the Express Pass, Lyndis elected to perform the Roadblock; this is reflected in the total Roadblock count. Later, Ike & Lyndis initially arrived 2nd, but received a 30-minute penalty for completing the Detour incorrectly. This did not affect their placement.
^ Diplo & Dillon initially arrived 3rd, but were issued a total of 1-hour penalty for: 30 minutes for completing the Detour incorrectly and 30 minutes for failing to complete the Roadblock. This did not affect their placement.
^ Ted & Robin elected to withdraw from the Race before the start of Leg 6 due to personal reasons. They traveled to Ripeli City with the other teams, but instead of running the leg, they were allowed to go directly to the Pit Stop to ask Phil to remove them from the Race, resulting in their elimination.
^ Diplo & Dillon initially arrived 2nd, but initially received a total of 60-minute penalties for: 30 minutes for taking a taxi to Marshland Casino Resort instead of monorail as instructed by the clue and 30 minutes for taking a boat to the Memorial of the Zilian People instead of taxi as instructed by the clue. Dorothy & Sophia and Sam & Cat checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to last place, but there was no mandatory rest period at the Pit Stop and therefore all teams were ordered to continue racing. However, the latter penalty was retracted after the production discovered that the clue was not explicit enough to inform the teams and used incorrect grammar, therefore Diplo & Dillon were only issued the former penalty. This resulted in their placement not being affected, even though they departed last.
^ Ike & Lyndis initially arrived at the Finish Line 1st, but received a total of 60-minute penalties for: 30 minutes for completing Route Info incorrectly and 30 minutes for completing the second Roadblock incorrectly. Dorothy & Sophia and Sam & Cat checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to 3rd.
^ Diplo & Dillon were last to arrive at the Pole Stadium and were eliminated in the middle part of the final leg during the second Roadblock.
