Miscategorization
This is miscategorizing things like {{Use American English}}
into Category:TemplateData documentation. I'm not sure if that category is meant to be limited to this template itself, or template documentation that transcludes it, but it definitely shouldn't be on templates themselves. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 05:17, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- Good point. We can probably use something like
{{#ifeq:{{ROOTPAGENAME}}|{{PAGENAME}}||[[Category:TemplateData documentation]]}}
- To prevent categorisation of
{{Use American English}}
but allow categorisation of{{Use American English/doc}}
. There are some templates like{{Article link}}
which include the template data on the main template page, ideally we would want such templates included. Really we just want the category to apply to pages which transclude the template and not double transclusion.--Salix alba (talk): 09:26, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
