The Institutional Protection Service (Template:Lang-es) is a service branch of the Panamanian Public Forces.

The Institutional Protection Service was organized in March 1990 to take-over the functions previously assigned to the former presidential guard.[2] Headquartered in Panama City, it is subordinate to the Ministry of the Presidency and is responsible for the personal protection of the President of Panama, as well as security and law enforcement in the Panama Canal Zone and certain public spaces such as the Cinta Costera.[3][4]
