Aims and Scopes
The Journal of Language and Literature is an international peer-reviewed journal that covers the latest research in the literary and non-literary language, Arts and Humanities, Language and Linguistics, Literature and Literary Theory, Social Sciences. The journal is an important part of the academic culture of the humanities concerning the linguistic and literary issues in countries around the world. The analysis on the languages of small ethnic groups and unknown nations, or the regional languages technology also concerns to the target of the journal. It aims to publish stimulating, well-written, authoritative peer-reviewed articles on all topics relevant to the broad fields of language and literature. It is consciously eclectic and diverse in its range of content: works ancient and modern; all languages and kinds of literature; and is open to a broad interpretation of text and culture. It serves a wide cross-section of interests and backgrounds, enabling the journal to place a priority on clear writing and readability. The journal is international in focus and content and attracts contributors from universities all over the world. We also encourage interdisciplinary submissions that explore the connections between stylistics and such cognate subjects and disciplines as psychology, literary studies, narratology. Language and Literature is essential reading for academics, teachers and students working in stylistics and related areas of language and literary studies. The journal mainly publishes articles written in English, but may also occasionally publish articles written in other languages.
