1998 to 2004 he was a very popular sportsperson in Taekwondo, he was in Bhutan taekwondo national team and he was also the team captain for Bhutan in many international competitions around the world... He participates in the World Championship in Korea and Bangkok Asian games, many international tournaments and won medals in Taekwondo for Bhutan. In 2004 to 2007 he was appointed as a national Taekwondo Coach for Haa Dzongkhag, during his coaching in Haa his team has won so many competitions within the country

2008 he resigned from Bhutan Taekwondo Federation and left for the United States of America, in 2010 he took off the course in professional photography in New York, today he is very popular with his photo and videos on social networks and his very well known in Bhutanese community in NYC
