The Center for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics (CMBI) is a Dutch centre for in silico research on biomolecules (mainly protein structure and genomes) and the small molecules (drugs) with which they interact.

The institute was founded in 1999 at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. In 2008 the institute became part of the Radboud University Medical Center.

Its four research groups focus on:

  • Comparative genomics
  • Bacterial genomics
  • Computational drug discovery
  • Modeling and data mining
