Hyperbolic functions

Hyperbolic functions are analagous to the ordinary trigonometric or circular functions. They are:

sinh x (pronounced "shine") cosh x (pronounced "cosh") tanh x (hard to pronounce)

They are defined in a similar way to the sine, cosine and tangent except that a hyperbola is used rather than a circle.
