Khuchap Monastery or Khujabi Monastery (Template:Lang-hy, Khutschap; Georgian: ხუჯაბი, Khujabi) is a disputed monastery dedicated to Our Lady of Iviron. It's situated near the border of Georgia with Armenia. According to the point of view of the Armenian authorities, the monastery is located in the Lori Province of Armenia, while according to Georgian authorities it's situated in Marneuli Municipality, Georgia, near Akhkerpi village.[1][citation needed][2][3]
Its proportions, decor and style are similar to group of monuments XII-XIII centuries such as Betania, Kvatakhevi, Akhtala.
Tholobate is heavily carved, facade is covered with stone color of wine and gold. Interior is painted with orthodox icons; there are preserved Georgian Asomtavruli inscriptions.[citation needed]
Apart from the main church Khujabi monastery consists of narthex and several ruined buildings.
