Added section on alternate modes of Turing pattern formation that have been shown in mouse and chick skin development. Several recent studies have shown convincing evidence of Turing pattern formation that do not require diffusible morphogens, but rather use physical properties of cells themselves.(Jrdecker (talk) 17:46, 5 December 2019 (UTC))[reply]
