MacSOUP is an offline Usenet newsreader and email client for Mac OS X and Mac OS Classic written by Stefan Haller.
A notable feature is its use of a graphical tree to represent discussion threads rather than the more commonly used hierarchical representation.
It was originally released under a shareware license in September 1994. With the release of version 2.8.5 in 2016, the author changed the license to freeware.
