On my system, ※ causes "correction" to sort before "abbreviation" which is unexpected. Also, TUS just uses the word "correction", not "※ correction" when discussing aliases. I understand ※ appears before the alias in the code charts but it is odd in a table column describing the reason for an alias to exist. DRMcCreedy (talk) 00:29, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, but: let's make it show at the start, and not use it for sorting? (using css)
At last, this is the only one signal Unicode does (to show an alias). The other situations, including illegal characters=iïnformal, aliases, we have to sort out for ourselves.
