Template talk:Unicode alias/row
Appearance
※
On my system, ※ causes "correction" to sort before "abbreviation" which is unexpected. Also, TUS just uses the word "correction", not "※ correction" when discussing aliases. I understand ※ appears before the alias in the code charts but it is odd in a table column describing the reason for an alias to exist. DRMcCreedy (talk) 00:29, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
- Fair enough, but: let's make it show at the start, and not use it for sorting? (using css)
- At last, this is the only one signal Unicode does (to show an alias). The other situations, including illegal characters=iïnformal, aliases, we have to sort out for ourselves.
