Servelec is a UK technology company that supplies software within healthcare and social care, education and youth services in local government settings.  Servelec provides software that helps improve interoperability across care settings, connecting providers with citizens by enabling better communication between the care providers.

In 2013 Servelec floated on the UK stock exchange and was acquired by Montagu Private Equity in January 2018.  Servelec has offices in Sheffield, London, Edinburgh, Norwich and Northwich.

Healthcare

Servelec is the market leader for the provision of electronic patient record systems to mental health trusts in England. Fifty-four per cent of Mental Health Global Digital Exemplars (GDEs) and Fast Followers rely on Servelec’s Rio electronic patient record software.

Rio is fully mobile and can be accessed on laptops, tablets and smartphones, enabling practitioners to access patient records remotely and in real-time.

Flow is Servelec’s patient flow and bed management solution which provides a real-time view of patients’ movements. This foresight enables clinical teams to improve their decision making and is said to save a trust with 700 beds over £2 million over three years.

Social Care

Mosaic is the first social care case management system used by local authorities to incorporate information on an individual, their immediate family and finances in one place, giving a single view of a person’s situation and their environment.  Mosaic also interoperates with healthcare and education management software.

Eighty-seven per cent of local authorities who use Servelec’s Mosaic case management system are rated good or outstanding by Ofsted.

Education

Servelec’s Synergy education management system gives an overview of all local authority interactions with children, young people and families.  Synergy integrates with other systems, including third-party software, to record and manage all aspects of children's services.

There are currently 112 local authorities using Synergy to improve the way they manage critical data. Of these, eighty-seven per cent are rated good or outstanding by Ofsted.

Youth Services

Servelec’s Core+ integrated youth support system is central to all youth services activities.  Data recorded in the single database can be shared across a number of services between social care and education to deliver improved outcomes. The integrated youth support system, Core+ not only helps local authorities meet statutory requirements simply, it reduces the burden of data entry and lets councils share information easily ensuring earlier intervention.
