About Brian

Brian A. Sayrs is a citizen advocate, elected and appointed to multiple positions of community trust:

  • Liberty Lake City Council, Position 6; and
  • Light Rail Steering Committee Vice Chair.

He serves on multiple committees, including:

  • Liberty Lake Council's Community Development Committee;
  • Liberty Lake Council's Parks and Recreation Committee;
  • Council Liaison to the Liberty Lake Trails Committee;
  • Central Valley School District's Community Linkages Committee;
  • Spokane Transit Authority's Reinvention Task Force;
  • Spokane Transit Authority's Operations and Customer Service Committee; and
  • Rural Feeder Van Service Collaboration Team.

Previously (but not currently due to term limits), he was:

  • A member of the Spokane Transit Authority Board of Directors; and
  • Spokane Regional Transportation Council Vice Chair.

Brian is an Association of Washington Cities Certified Municipal Leader, and serves as a member of the National League of Cities' Communications and Information Technology Policy Committee.

Brian is a Charter Member of the Liberty Lake Centennial Rotary, and serves at its Community Service Chairman.
