Additionally, note that in the second group, Timesgroup007 was only "soft"-blocked for promotional username, so it would not necessarily be a violation of the sock puppetry policy for them to create additional accounts; however, Akashpashine was created and edited chronologically before Timesgroup007. There are a few behavioral connections between the groups, such as a shared interest in The Times Group (compare [1][2]). I am thinking WP:MEAT is a possibility in this situation.
I have blocked and tagged the accounts in Group 1, but I will leave it to another admin or clerk to decide whether Group 2 should be blocked as well. Mz7 (talk) 21:09, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- @Mz7: I checked Timesgroup007 and Akashpashine, intending to convert Timesgroup007's block to a checkuserblock but otherwise leave Akashpashine alone. (Timesgroup007's only edit was to their own sandbox, I wouldn't normally indef the master for that, they've been inactive a week anyway.) While doing so, I also noticed Manoj1313k (talk⁺ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki), who is Confirmed to your group 1 and overlaps on Special:Undelete/Dineout.
