Toxins can be absorbed through the skin.

Apparently this fungus is dangerous to touch too. There's a news story right now of them being found in Australia and it says the toxins can be absorbed through your skin.--Lerdthenerd wiki defender 11:06, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently this is debatable see this translated article which says that people have touched the fungus without any skin irritation Hemiauchenia (talk) 17:47, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
