Driver changes

After Anthoine Hubert suffered a fatal accident during the Spa-Francorchamps feature race involving Juan Manuel Correa who suffered a spinal injury, both BWT Arden and Charouz Racing System teams decided to run one car in the event, leaving Tatiana Calderón and Callum Ilott as the sole runners for each team respectively. Giuliano Alesi was also involved in the incident, which meant he was forced to surrender his car, as it would be under investigation. Alesi’s teammate Ralph Boschung was forced to step down, and Alesi drove his car for both races.
