Lecture Room (Chinese: 百家讲坛; Pinyin: Bǎijiā Jiǎngtán) is a popular TV program of China Central Television, which invited scholars on history and literature to provide lectures. It was firstly broadecasted on July 9, 2001. The famous lecturers include Liu Xinwu, Yuan Chongnian, and Mao Peiqi.
